MTV BASE: Music List ignites emotions.

So couple of days ago I read that MTV Base released a list of 20 songs which they tagged "Best naija tracks ever on MTV Base".
The release of this news has been trailed by reactions from Eedris Abdulkareem, Iyanya and Chidi Mokeme.

So currently I'm thinking to myself, what was the criteria used for the song selection.
Because while I'm in support with Chidi's assessment and Iyanya's trying to play it cool, someone might need to present Eedris with some kind of explanation unless they're particularly indifferent to Eedris invoking the wrath of God down upon them.
