Dope - Movie Review

Dope movie review. DOPE is a smaller film that you may not heard of but it is a wide release recently. It is about three high school kids who are not the most popular kids in school. They have chosen to be different in almost every single way. The are obsessed with the 90's, hip hop, and have their own band in which they write their own music.

Our lead character is humongous geek who still play Super Nintendo. When he accidentally get involved with the wrong group of people, he has to do everything he can to stay who he is and maintain his dignity as well.

Dope is extremely ORIGINAL movie, I haven't seen a movie like this in a long time. Filled with exellent performances especially the lead character played by Shameik Moore. I have to say the this guy is so gooood in this film. He was always very real and I know it is a really hard thing to do. And honestly, everyone is really great. Zoe Kravitz? probably the best I've ever seen her.

And honestly, everyone is really great. Zoe Kravitz? probably the best I've ever seen her. The other thing that makes Dope a great movie is the director's point of view. the editing, the shot structure, cinematography, the music, especially the soundtracks.

Dope was so energetic. It has a charisma to it. The movie has a lot of messages or morals that is trying to get across to the audience.

So I am going to give this movie.... B+
