What in the bloody hell is a hype beast????

Yesterday, I learned what a hype beast was.

I love these slogan buzz words which I have no idea about. This one was interesting. A hype beast is not an animal but someone who purchases clothing/product for the simple purposes of impressing others.

This may also be a way of 'faking' money or having money to present a wealthy front to others.

I was interested because in my line of work, I see a lot of this. I think we can all think of people who have queued for stuff that they don't really want or may not be their style just to own it.

Anyone stood in a queue for H&M recently????
