Primark (or Pennys depending on where you are) are taking no prisoners with their beauty collection.
I was amazed to see their new look book for their Spring collection of beauty as it didn't skip one trend. There are pastel nail varnishes galore but most come with stick on pieces which are quite interesting. If you fancy upgrading an old varnish with a new lease of life then they are also producing wheels of stick on nail jewels.
Not one for pastel nails? They are now beating American Apparel and Model's Own at the neon nails game. You can now pick up a set of neon nail varnishes for next to nothing.
The palette of nine eyeshadows is a bit cheeky. Its an exact copy of the MAC nine eyeshadow palettes! Although the MAC version is not £2.50.
They are also cashing in on the ombre trend by producing lip palettes too.
If neon and pastel nails aren't your thing then they are also producing black nail varnish as well. Which is a key trend in New York Fashion Week this year along with black lipstick as well. None of the nail varnishes or palettes I have featured here are over £6 which is amazing. It means its perfect for those who want to pick up a mini trend to try. Also for weekend looks.
I must admit I am tempted by the nail varnish wheels and stick on gems or glitters.
There is also a new range of lipsticks in a matte finish with bright colors too. I quite like the purple one. A cheaper make of lipstick doesn't always mean it comes off easily though, I once had a Barry M lipstick that stained my lips to the point of awkward. No one wants to be bright pink for days afterwards following showers, lipstick removers, wipes, scrubs and tears.
It's impressive to see so many trends for this season making an appearance. I have to admit that I've never used Primark cosmetics but I wouldn't be against it. I'm impressed with the range. I would love to know if any of you guys have tried it?
